The film follows heart surgeon Juha (Pekka Strang, Tom OF Finland), who has lived life at an unengaged distance since his wife tragically drowned some years ago. And although it is often debilitating, his grief also throws up some rather surprising sexual urges.

A birthday trip with his daughter leads to an unexpected but thrilling encounter with Mona (Krista Kosonen, Bladerunner 2049), a dominatrix whose modus operandi brings a whole new meaning to the notion of suffocating relationships. Might submission and pain provide a pathway out of grief?

Dogs Don’t Wear Pants Limited Edition HD Blu-Ray is packed full of special features including in depth interviews with Jukka-Pekka Valkeapää and stars Krista Kosonen and Pekka Strang; a new English language audio commentary by Jukka-Pekka Valkeapää; a MK3D interview with Mark Kermode and Jukka-Pekka Valkeapää as well as storyboards, ‘Behind the Scenes’ stills galleries and an exclusive 24 page booklet containing writing on the film by Anna Bogutskaya and Evrim Ersoy.
